Leaving Hotel to see;

First visiting site is Wat Phnom 

  • The first attraction thing to be visiting is Wat Phnom, the highest hill and religious building in Phnom Penh city, where the capital taken name from the hill, Phnom Penh was originally named Wat Phnom Duan Penh
  • Wat is meant Buddhism temple
  • Phnom is meant MOUNTAIN
  • Duan was a grandma. and Penh was grandma name 

In other word we can call a Buddhist temple was built on top of mountain at the capital city center  and the hilled Buddhist temple was called Wat Phnom Duan Penh, peoples named the founder of Buddhist temple, and then from years to years slightly turned to Wat Phnom. Cambodia capital is now officially called Phnom Penh. the hill was built in 1372 within the height is Wat Phnom has a total height of 46 meters (150ft)

3. National Museum, is also a short walk from the Royal Palace and it’s closed borders  between the two building compounds, it’s across street 178 street, the national museum is the collected of Cambodia fine art tools, you can be seeing the pre Angkor period ancient fine arts   

 

 

Second visiting Royal Palace

 

After the visit of Wat Phnom Penh then we are moving to see King’s houses

Next up on the itinerary is a ride to go to at the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda of Phnom Penh, the palace was built during of the colonial time which it’s located on confluence of 4 face rivers 

 

 

Before lunch break we are heading to have a look of independence monument and King Norodom Statue

After lunch we are through to see the history tourism site it’s called Toul Sleng Genocide Museum or well known as Security 21 “S21“, Toul Sleng Genocide Museum.

More than 10 thousands of peoples were detained and executed there

As we leave the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, we embark on a journey to the infamous Killing Fields at Choeung Ek.

The site, located approximately 17 kilometers south of Phnom Penh, was the execution ground for over 17,000 Cambodian men, women, and children during the Khmer Rouge regime.

As we arrive, we’ll be greeted by a beautiful memorial stupa built to honor the souls of the victims. The stupa is adorned with the skulls of the deceased, a chilling yet poignant reminder of the atrocities that occurred on this very ground.

Our expert guide will lead us through the fields, sharing stories of the lives lost and the horrors of the Khmer Rouge regime. You’ll see firsthand the mass graves where thousands were buried, and learn about the methods used to execute innocent people.

 

Toul Sleng Prison and Genocide Museum
